Reported, accused and convicted adult perpetrators of criminal offences and children in conflict with the law, 2021

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of reported adults – known perpetrators in 2021, compared to 2020, decreased by 10.7%. In 2021, compared to 2020, the number of convicted adult perpetrators increased by 20.2%, and the number of accused adult perpetrators increased by 23.2%. The number of reported children in conflict with the law – perpetrators of criminal offences in 2021, in comparison with 2020, decreased by 3.4%. In 2021, compared to 2020, the number of convicted children in conflict with the law – perpetrators of criminal offences increased by 9.1%.
