According to the definitive data of the State Statistical Office the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022 was 816 084 million denars and
in comparison, with 2021 it increased by 11.9% in nominal terms. The real GDP growth rate in 2022, compared to 2021, was 2.8%.
The following sectors had the biggest share of value added 18.8% in the structure of GDP in 2022: (G, H and I) Wholesale and retail trade;
repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; Transportation and storage; Accommodation and food service activities.
The final consumption in 2022, in comparison with 2021, increased by 13.1% in nominal terms, while its share in the structure of GDP
was 84.6%.
In 2022, the share of export of goods and services in GDP was 72.8%.
The total value of gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) for 2022 was 196 027 million denars.
In the technical structure of GFCF, construction participated with 58.3%, machinery and equipment with 32.0%, and the rest of GFCF
with 9.8%.
