According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of teachers and supporting staff in the tertiary education institutions in

the academic year 2022/2023 was 4 496.

Of the total number of teaching personnel and supporting staff, 3 166 persons or 70.4% are teachers, while 1 330 persons or 29.6%

are supporting staff.

The number of female teachers and supporting staff in the academic year 2022/2023 was 2 252 or 50.1%.
