Transport of passengers and goods in the second quarter of 2024

According to the data of State Statistical Office, in the second quarter of 2024, a total of 914 thousand passengers were carried in road

passenger transport, 9 771 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 69 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 815 383

passengers were carried in air transport.

In the second quarter of 2024, in comparison with the same period of 2023, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport

increased by 43.9%, in rail transport it decreased by 20.9%, while in air transport it increased by 113.9%.
