The number of deaths in the second quarter of 2024 increased by 0.3% compared to the same quarter of 2023 and it amounted to 4 711, of which 12 were infant deaths.
The natural increase is negative, -871 persons, representing the difference by which the number of live births is smaller than the number of deaths.
The number of marriages registered in this quarter of the year was 2 533, a decrease of 22.6% compared to the same quarter of 2023.
In this quarter, there were 390 divorces.
