The Regional Department of Statistics in Strumica was host to economics students and their professors from the high school Jane Sandanski in Strumica.
The purpose of the visit was for the students and their professors to learn about the work of the State Statistical Office in general and particularly about the Regional Department in Strumica. The colleagues from the Regional Department explained to the students the mission and vision of the State Statistical Office, the legal basis of the work of the Office, the surveys it conducts, in particular the censuses as the most comprehensive statistical operation, and special emphasis was put on the website of the State Statistical Office as an unlimited source of data that can be used for various purposes.
The students and their professors expressed satisfaction with the visit and hope that this cooperation will continue in the future.
