From 30 March to 1 April, the Annual Board Meeting of Paris21 (Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century) took place in Paris, France. The meeting was attended by the director of the State Statistical Office, Ms. Lidija Kostovska.
At the meeting, the agenda regarding the 2015 Conclusions and the budget for implementation of this agenda were discussed, and a Development Strategy for the period 2016-2021 was adopted along with an Action Plan.
Besides the meeting, two seminars were organised for all participants:
- Measuring statistical capacity in the countries and current situation; - Means of implementation of the Paris21 Strategy through partnerships, rule of law and future activities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of several developing countries from around the world.
