First meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning Project

 The initial meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning Project "Support to the State Statistical Office for capacity building and improving compliance of statistics with EU standards" took place yesterday in Skopje.
The meeting was attended by the project leaders from the participating countries and from the beneficiary institution (State Statistical Office), as well as by the leaders of the three components covered by the Project - National Accounts, Business Statistics and Social Statistics.
Presentations were delivered regarding the established goals and expected results of the Project, and consideration was given to the first quarterly report on the missions carried out within the Project.
